Hello!

Mein name is Aigul Rieker

I'm from Kazakhstan, currently living in Germany. Happy wife and mom.

 

I was born in North of Russia, where i grew up with my sister untill I was 13 years old. Then we moved back to Kazakhstan, the land of my family, my true home land.

It took me awhile to start to draw. I was 32 when I took my first painting classes. It was in Shanghai, China. And it was Chinese traditional painting school. One year later I took classes of watercolor painting from another chinese teacher. This is how my journey in the world of arts began. When we came back to Germany I began to paint with acrylic paints and experiment with different techniques. 

Here you can see what I achived. I really enjoy working with acrylic colors, but also love to work with watercolors, it's good to emprove my skills. And I still find very fiscinating working with chinese ink and rice paper.
